Lives of Others Blu-ray DVD

The Lives of Others won the Oscar®-for Best Foreign Language Film (2006).
My concept for the menu centers on the lead character, Captain Gerd Wiesler, a Stasi investigator in East Berlin circa 1984, as he becomes drawn into the lives of a successful playwright and his girlfriend. We see Wiesler in the attic and the interrogation room: the environments of his work. Footage of his subjects is projected onto the walls surrounding him serving as a metaphor for his immersion in “The Lives of Others”. The navigation design is an abstraction of a file folder tab that is clean and modern while still alluding to the files being compiled by the Stasi on the citizens of the German Democratic Republic.
